Lately I’ve been dreaming so lucidly that I engage on somnambulant activities around my house and end up waking up in different places. Last night I woke up under the kitchen table. I dreamt that the world had been destroyed by a major tragedy that involved all types of natural disasters. Living in that world was similar to living in a sewer. Everything was covered with water, boats became the medium of transportation and rats were crawling through everything. It felt sad!
In all the mayhem I saw a baby sleeping in an upside down table that was drifting through the waters. The table in my dream looked exactly as my kitchen’s table and the baby looked like Cassandra, a baby I met this year at a brass concert. In the dream she sucked her thumb and slept, very unaware of what the world had become. I paddled my big square of wood towards the table, grabbed her and carried her on my shoulder for the rest of the dream, while drifting away to an unknown

Sequia
Clowning here, clowning there, clowning everywhere.
Why can’t I just die for you to laugh?
Sometimes the desert takes over the mind
Sand just twirls and twines,
Cactuses grow in the mouth,
And the mirages slowly dry.
It’s all an act.
It is in fact, part of life.
